Mindly AI ("we", "our", or "the App") is a mood journal application developed by Olha Hardash. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Mood Entries: The App stores your mood ratings, journal notes, selected activities, and timestamps. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via your personal iCloud account.

Health Data: With your explicit permission, the App may read and write data to Apple Health (HealthKit), such as mindful minutes. This data is never sent to external servers.

Photos: If you attach photos to mood entries, they are stored locally on your device only.

Voice Input: If you use voice-to-text, speech recognition is processed by Apple's on-device Speech framework. Audio is not recorded or stored by the App.

AI Chat: AI conversations are processed entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence (FoundationModels). No conversation data is sent to external servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to external servers. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not have access to your mood data, journal entries, or health information.

3. Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced through your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy protections. We have no access to your iCloud data.

4. Apple Watch

The companion Apple Watch app shares mood data with the iPhone app through a secure App Group container. This data stays on your devices and is not transmitted externally.

5. Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled by Apple.

6. Biometric Authentication

The App may use Face ID or Touch ID to protect your journal. Biometric data is handled entirely by Apple's Secure Enclave and is never accessible to the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the App from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also delete synced data through your iCloud settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated effective date.
